Naan – no yeast

Ingredients:

2 cups flour

1 ¼ cup yogurt (a little more if using gluten-free flour)

2 tsp baking powder (¼ tsp extra for gluten-free)

⅓ tsp salt

  1. Mix the dry ingredients together.
  2. Add yogurt and mix by hand until the dough comes together.
  3. Transfer onto a dry, clean, floured surface and knead until dough forms a large ball.
  4. Divide dough into 5-7 smaller balls.
  5. Roll out each ball until about ¼” thick.
  6. Cook each side in a hot pan for a few minutes. Naan should be lightly browned.
