I’ve found the following steps useful to minimize Jet-Lag when traveling Eastwards:
- Eat vegetarian food starting 2 days before the flight
- Water fast for 36+ hours from 10 hours before the flight
- this means no solid food or snacks during the flight
- no alcoholic drinks
- Sleep/rest on the flight Eastwards, stay awake on the flight westwards
- Break fast with heavy vegetarian lunch in new time zone
- Stay awake until new time zone’s evening
- sleep for 12 hours
- Breakfast light on carbs
- heavy lunch
- Go outside sit in the sun early in the morning
- No alcohol for 2 more days in the new time zone
- work-out if possible
